This news illustrate the murder case of Surendra Vasantha Perera also known as Club Vasantha.
This murder case occurred on July 8th 2024 during the opening of Tatto Paler in Athurugiriya.
Vasantha along with another individual, was shot dead in a targeted attack. The incident was
captured on CCTV, showing the attackers approaching Vasantha while he was having a meal
and shooting him at close range.

The fact that this image has two separate images of the same person, suggests that he dead.
Without embellishing anything, the letter gives a clear, accurate and genuine report on the
person's health. The reporting is factual and lucid. It had a neutral, well-balanced tone. The
little is objective, emphasizing information delivery over stirring up emotional feelings. It

This visual is strong and vivid. The photo illustrates a person with bloodstains and a tightly
bandaged head, which elicits a frightening and emotional response. Fake news frequently uses
these photos to emphasize how serious an event is. Fake news frequently lacks context or
supporting data for its claim. The headline conveys a strong emotional massage. implying
that the subject is critically ill or on the verge of death. But official reports state that Vasantha
actually died that moment. Fake news frequently uses dramatic language and huge bold
typography to instantly draw attention.

 

 

Jackson Anthony's News 

 This news shows that Jackson Anthony who was the famous actor in Sri Lanka.
He was faced to the accident while travelling with a group of friends including
his colleagues from the entertainment industry in 2nd of July in 2022 around the
Talawa area in Anuradhapura. This accident happened from the wild elephant.
At that time had a significant damage to the vehicle and serious injuries to these
inside. After this incident, they were admitted to the Colombo hospital and while
treatments on going within one year Anthony was dead. There were many news
about Anthony's dead were created by various media platforms. Among them
some news were real and most news were fake.


Real News

The real news was published by Ada Derana news program of TV Derana.
This is credible source to believe this news as a real news. In this news,
they created the headline as clear and understandable way. And also this
news appears to provide most straightforward description of the incident
with less grammatic phrasing and possibly a more comprehensive account
what happened. This news used a clear picture of Anthony's vehicle of
that moment, as a big evidence to prove the accident.




 

Fake News


 


The fake news used a sensational headline and image to grab the attention. This headline was
unbelievable headline. There was no reason to trust as a real thing. According to the headline we
can say it was a myth. In this news there is no credible source or verification for real news. We 
can't find who creates this context.
 
  • All in all we should be smart to choose what is true news and fake news because there are many fake news in social media so we all should be smart to choose what is true news and what is fake news so everyone should be smart to get the real news. However, it is advisable to find out a lot of information about each news item.Then we can avoid falling prey to fake news.
